About Me
An Architect and Designer from Istanbul, Turkey.
Graduated from SCI-Arc, Southern California Institute of Architecture with a Masters degree in Architecture. I received a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2015 with Honors, and am a licensed architect in Turkey (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects).
I believe as a designer, we have a great responsibility to create spaces for other people; decide how they live, where they sit, play and how they interact. It’s in the power of the lines we draw; where they become a symbolic location, memory or a home. As I travel more and see all the different faces of architecture, it encourages me to design with bold lines and helps my imagination run wild with new ideas. .
I am currently working on couple personal projects. Previously, I was a Senior Designer at AUX Architecture in Los Angeles working on high end residential. I had worked with Mithun | Hodgetts + Fung with experience in mixed-use commercial, education, residential renovation, urban planning and urban design.
